March 2011 BaltoMSDN Meeting

March 2011 BaltoMSDN Meeting

Speaker: Kevin Goff

Topic: Maps in SQL Server Reporting Services

Abstract: Do you feel like you need a map, just to create an SSRS map? Then this session is for you. I’ll build 3 different examples of maps in SSRS from scratch, using the SSRS Map Gallery, ESRI shape files, and SQL Server spatial data. I’ll also show how you can create drilldown effects, to navigate from a summary map to a more detailed map, integrating sales data. I’ll also show how to use C# to call a web service to pull geo coordinates into a database.”
